About

Welcome to Victoria Art Studio!

At Victoria Art Studio, we offer classes designed to engage children's creativity, enhance their imagination, and explore their artistic abilities - with an overall focus on having fun and collaborating with peers. We understand children, and our classes meet them where they are. We provide different activities and materials to keep them engaged and interested, and allow more time to explore in depth when desired. Our classes introduce a wide range of artistic techniques and materials aimed at stretching participants' skills and imagination, such as combining music and dance with the art, with the association with the Victoria Ballet. We believe in the importance of emphasizing the process of creating art, and we let the results speak for themselves.

Jennie Kim
Art Director at Los Altos Studio

Jennie Kim is a multidisciplinary artist and director with a solid foundation in both fine arts and design. She is widely recognized for her ability to bridge artistic vision with educational leadership, creating inspiring environments that foster creative growth.

Her artistic journey began in childhood, guided by a natural talent and a deep passion for drawing. She received formal training in various media, including sketching, croquis, watercolor, and acrylic painting. Jennie later majored in Visual Communication Design in South Korea, where she served as a student leader and actively participated in a wide range of creative initiatives. Her talent was acknowledged early on through awards from design competitions hosted by three major universities. She expanded her global perspective during the undergraduate studies through a brand collaboration project in Japan, where she worked cross-culturally to develop visual identity strategies for a lifestyle brand.

After graduating in 2012, Jennie began her professional career in the IT and broadcasting industries, taking on key roles in graphic design, digital content, and web management. She led the redesign of the official website for a major Korean broadcasting network—a project that was later featured on air. In addition, she was responsible for the visual design of a mobile game project, managing all design aspects from concept development through to launch. These experiences further refined her expertise in digital media and visual storytelling.

After relocating to the United States, Jennie expanded her creative work to include branding, visual strategy, and the production of official materials for high-profile conferences and professional events.

As both an artist and a parent, Jennie is deeply passionate about nurturing children’s creativity through art. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in empathy, patience, and years of hands-on experience. She thoughtfully designs each class to cultivate imagination, resilience, and authentic self-expression in every student.

In her role as a director, Jennie leads and curates art programs that integrate technical skill development with emotional growth. She is committed to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where students are encouraged to explore their ideas freely and confidently. She believes that art is not merely a form of expression, but a transformative tool that helps shape compassionate, confident individuals.

Outside of her professional life, Jennie enjoys spending time with her family, playing the piano, staying active through sports, and exploring new destinations around the world.
