Which class do I need to take?

First the students have to take a trial class so the teachers can determine the class that suits the student. After taking certain amount of classes, your teacher will notify you if you are available to move to a different level.

Can I take trial/drop-in class before registration?

Yes, you can take trial or drop-in class before registration.

Trial class:

Drop-in class:
Drop-in classes will share the same schedule with regular classes. Student and parent should come 5 minutes before class time, which is posted on our website.(https://www.victoriaartlosaltos.com/registration-art) Once you arrive, teachers will give you the link for the payment. Drop-in classes are $75. You may decide to enroll after the class.

How to register / enroll classes?

2. For new students, there is one-off registration fee ($100 as of July 2024). You can either pay at the studio or we can send you an invoice.
3. Depending on your class, your monthly payment will be processed.

Question 4

How to cancel plans? What is the refund policy?

All purchases are non-refundable. If you're enrolled in a monthly plan and wish to stop automatic payments, please notify us via email at info@victoriaartlosaltos.com (info@victoriaartlosaltos.com)at least one month before the next billing date. If you're enrolled in monthly plans, the tuition is processed on 25th of each month for the following month.

Any class that is missed without prior notice is considered a “no show” and will not be tracked. Missed classes without notice cannot be made up, and no refund or credit will be provided.

For those enrolled in 10-lesson packages (private classes), please inform us before the last two lessons of the package are taught if you wish to discontinue.

What should I do if my child needs to miss a class?

If your child needs to miss a class, please email the studio 48 hours prior to the scheduled class. This allows us to schedule a makeup class on Saturday at 10:00 AM, preferably during the same week. Please note that all makeup classes are held exclusively at the Los Altos location.

How many makeup classes are allowed, and how are they scheduled?

Each student is allowed a maximum of five (5) makeup classes per year, including absences due to illness. Makeup classes are available only on Saturdays at 10:00 AM and 12:00pm. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Walk-ins or same-day requests will not be accepted.

If a student misses a scheduled makeup class, it cannot be rescheduled, and it is considered used. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to maintain an organized schedule for all students.

Question 7

Are there limitations or changes for makeup classes?

Yes, please be aware that:
 • Makeup classes may be with a different teacher or in a different group.
 • Saturday students in regular classes can attend back-to-back sessions (e.g., Picasso class at 10:00 AM Sat followed by another session at 11:00 AM).
 • Makeup slots may fill up quickly, especially near the semester's end, so early booking is recommended.

Do holidays or studio breaks count as missed classes?

No, national holidays and planned studio breaks are not counted as missed classes. Therefore, they do not qualify for makeup sessions.

Injuries

Students and their parents/legal guardians agree not to hold Victoria ART Studio  responsible for any injuries resulted from activities before, during, or after class.

Photo and Video Release

If the parents/legal guardians agree to photo release on our sign-up page, students and their parents/legal guardians are giving the Victoria ART Studio permission to take photographs or videos of the students and their artwork for use in advertising materials.

What is Monthly Plan?

Victoria Art Studio's Monthly Plan is an annual program paid in several installments, one monthly installment. We run an annual program from August to May. Summer camps are held in June and July. So, a class once a week for 10 months can usually receive 37 to 40 lesson hours.

Question 13

Why the number of classes per month varies in a monthly plan?

The reason you see different number of sessions when paying monthly is because some months are 5 weeks and some months are 4 weeks. Also, depending on national / local holidays, the number of classes can vary by month.

As you can see from this calendar, it is a plan that allows you to take 4 classes per month overall.

Question 14

Is there a sibling discount?

1. If registering for ballet and art classes at the same time: You must pay the first one-time registration fee of $100 separately.

2. Sibling: The first registration fee of $100 must be paid separately, and a 5% discount is given from the second child onwards.

3. When a family has more than one child enrolled, a discount is applied to the class with the lower tuition fees. For families with three or more children, the discount applies to all but the class with the highest tuition fees. The discount rate is set at 5%.
